Who We Are

The Chia (Pow Soo) Hakka Clan Association is a community-driven organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich heritage and culture of Hakka. As a gathering place for Chia (Xie 谢) individuals and families, we have both geographical and blood kinship together fostering a sense of belonging, identity, and pride in our shared ancestry.

Established in 1957, through various activities and initiatives, we aim to connect members, share experiences, and strengthen our ties to our ancestral roots. Our efforts include organizing cultural events, genealogical research, Youth program, and IT digital initiatives. By preserving our traditions and customs, we hope to inspire future generations to continue the legacy of the Chia (Pow Soo) Hakka clan.
